About this framework
Framework period: 14 January 2019 until 13 January 2022 (with extension options to 13 January 2023)
Scotland Excel’s hot beverages framework provides members with a variety of hot beverage machinery as well as associated consumables such as bean to cup coffee machines, filter coffee machines, desktop pod coffee machines, traditional barista coffee machines, bulk brew equipment, tea, coffee and hot chocolate and associated products.
As with all our frameworks, this contract was developed in close consultation with stakeholders. It is fully compliant with all legislative requirements and offers social, economic and environmental benefits in line with Scotland Excel’s sustainable procurement approach.

Key Facts
Suppliers were asked to identify any product accreditation or certification that they had with Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Soil Association. 11 suppliers stated they are at least certified by one of the arrangements mentioned and 3 stated they are triple certified.
