Clydebank Housing Association

Associate Member

Clydebank Housing Association was established by local residents in 1984 and, working in partnership with the Housing Corporation and with the Local Authority, set out to improve housing and regenerate the central and east areas of the town. The Association was registered with the Housing Corporation in January 1985 and celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2020.

In the earlier years, its development work was concentrated on the modernisation of the tenements in the town centre. When this work was finished, they embarked on a programme of new building to provide more new houses and flats for rent and for shared ownership. Today their aim to provide good quality, affordable housing remains to the forefront.
