“Our construction frameworks contain clauses which facilitate retention in construction contracts, where a contracting authority deems this as relevant and proportionate to the requirements of the individual work order. Data is not collected nationally on any retention applied in work orders. Engagement will continue with our members on individual retention policy and compliance statements to inform an annual review of this clause.”
