Our first ever Estates Management Expo was a huge success.
The Scotland Excel Estates Management Expo took place at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Tuesday 17 September 2024.
The expo comprised a conference and exhibition where delegates had the opportunity to hear from some of the country’s foremost experts in the built environment as well as meet framework suppliers to Scotland Excel’s construction portfolio.
The conference
The conference featured a mix of presentations and case studies covering all aspects of the construction life cycle. A Q & A panel answered a range of questions on what the future of construction may look like.

- Nick Ribbons - Partner Construction, Zero Waste Scotland
The exhibition
The exhibition showcased Scotland Excel's specialist construction portfolio that has been adapted over the past 16 years to meet the needs of the public sector.
Delegates had an opportunity to meet with framework suppliers from to discuss their construction journey and consider new and innovative ways of working.
There were also live demos from Scotland Excel’s strategic partner BE-ST that will allow delegates to ‘Play with the Future’ through their Virtual Reality design and workflow processes.
And guests were able to walk through a simulated asbestos removal scenario with specialist Rhodar.
