Looking for a job where you can make a real difference?

Join us for our online careers event on 9 February 2022

Great people are at the heart of any great organisation.  At Scotland Excel, we are proud of our people whose work enables us to support the delivery of essential services across Scotland.

Scotland Excel has almost doubled in size over the past decade, and we are continuing to grow. If you are looking to for a new career opportunity, why not join us for our free online careers event on 9 February 2022.

The event will feature talks by our Chief Executive, Julie Welsh, as well as from many of our current staff who will speak about how their work helps to make life better for everyone in Scotland.  Examples include...

  • Supporting warm, affordable and safe places to live through our contracts for new housing, energy efficiency, care services and our work with housing associations.
  • Supporting the Scottish Government target of net zero by 2045 through our contracts and minimising the carbon footprint of our supply chain.
  • Supporting young people through contracts and services which provide locally sourced healthy food, education materials, early learning, children's care, as well as apprenticeships and work experience delivered through community benefits.
  • Supporting thriving communities through a host of activities including local supplier and third sector engagement and partnerships, community benefits and community wealth building.

We promise the event will make you think about procurement in a completely different light…

Our team members will also talk about training and career progression as well the culture and values of Scotland Excel.

Whether you are starting out, looking to advance, or even thinking of a complete change of direction, we would like to hear from you.  While procurement experience may be important for some roles, it is often transferable skills that make the difference.

We look at the person more than the qualification.  And with flexible, hybrid and remote working options, your location matters less than ever.

There will be an opportunity to book individual, private appointments with hosts from our different business areas. These appointments will be available in fifteen-minute slots and are bookable in advance.

The event starts at 4.30 pm, with appointments available from 6.00 to 7.00 pm.

Visit our Eventbrite event page to register. If you have any questions about the event, please get in touch.
