Scotland Excel achieved Investors In People (IIP) Gold accreditation
We join a list of 124 Scottish employers who have gained the sought-after gold standard
We are the latest Scottish employer to be awarded gold accreditation by the UK’s leading people management body, Investors in People (IIP).
We've joined a list of just 124 Scottish companies who have achieved the sought-after gold accreditation.
Our gold was achieved following a review that included a staff survey, interviews and review of the organisation’s key documents.
Councillor John Shaw, Convener of Scotland Excel, said “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded Investors in People gold accreditation, recognising our commitment to our staff, their development and their well-being.
“I’m pleased IIP has considered the steps we take to ensure our employees are valued, recognised and heard, as we strive for a supportive working environment that makes on-going learning and development a top priority.
“We work hard to encourage staff participation and involvement in the decision-making process, and we regularly engage with them through various communication channels including our employee forum.”
Bonnie Clarke, Interim Chief Executive of Remarkable, the organisation licensed to deliver Investors in People in Scotland, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Scotland Excel. Investors in People recognises organisations who are truly committed to their people, continuous improvement and customer service.
“We have supported Scotland Excel in recent years, and we’re delighted to see their ongoing dedication recognised with this Gold award. Many congratulations!”
We've had silver accreditation since 2010, before achieving gold. Only 19% of IIP’s accredited employers have achieved gold.
