Scotland Excel scoops 2023 Scottish GO Award title

Scotland Excel was delighted to win the Scottish GO Award’s Collaborative Procurement category 2023 recently, for our detailed stakeholder work that helped to develop a key social care framework.

We were crowned winner at the annual Scottish GO Awards ceremony in Glasgow for our collaboration when developing the third generation of our Children’s Residential Framework.

This important framework is a key part of our social care portfolio, which helps councils and Health and Social Care Partnerships in Scotland to source a wide range of vital care services for their communities.

Close collaboration with organisations across the public and care sectors meant change in the policy landscape and the promise – Scotland’s pledge to care experienced children and young people that they will grow up loved, safe and respected.

Our collaboration work also meant we put in place a framework with greater flexibility for organisations to purchase individualised services through an increased range of enhanced services offered.

Also at the awards ceremony, our supplier GavHas also scooped the award for Contractor of the Year, for the work they deliver through our Domestic Furniture and Furnishings Framework.
