Care Homes for Adults Flexible Framework Agreement tender live

The tender for Scotland Excel’s new Care Homes for Adults Flexible Framework Agreement is now live on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS).

The new framework agreement will be in place for six years and will remain open to new entrants joining for its duration.

It will include the scope of the existing Care Homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities (including Autism) framework, and services will be for adults who are aged 18 to 64 years.

Care commissioners who use the existing framework had requested a widening of the scope of services in the new agreement. The new framework will therefore include services that are registered with the care inspectorate for the following care groups: mental health, physical disabilities, addictions, acquired brain injury, complex and neurodivergent needs. 

The tender will close on 12 noon Wednesday 5 March and the evaluation process will get then underway. It is hoped the new framework will be live in the early summer.
