The purpose of the Sustainable Procurement Handbook is to ensure the work of Scotland Excel is delivered with optimal impact from a sustainability perspective. The handbook updates Scotland Excel’s approach to sustainable procurement, replacing the previous policy and bringing together Scotland Excel’s approach to:

• segmenting contractual arrangements
• responding to Net Zero targets
• consolidating Fair Work First practices
• contracting for community benefit delivery.
