Supporting Scotland's Green Recovery

Scotland Excel's work to support Scottish councils with their green recovery and Net Zero ambitions has been featured in the Herald’s 100 Days of Hope campaign.

With the eyes of the world on the country as it gears up to host COP26, the Herald has been highlighting positive work being done throughout Scotland.

Our Head of Strategic Procurement, Hugh Carr told the Herald: “The contracts we have been putting in place for the past decade and longer have been part of the local government sector’s climate response journey. 

“We’ve undoubtedly learned a lot over this time. We have improved and refined our frameworks and now we are stepping up to do even more to support councils in the green recovery and in their climate emergency responses.”
