About this framework

Framework period: 1 April 2019 until 31 March 2023

Scotland Excel’s Audio Visual Framework provides members with a variety of audio visual equipment including interactive touch screens; television screens; digital signage; and projectors. Members using this framework are schools, council buildings and civic centres. Within the framework lotting structure, it will include a lot that will provide additional support needs and the option to hire equipment for events.

As with all our frameworks, this contract was developed in close consultation with stakeholders. It is fully compliant with all legislative requirements and offers social, economic and environmental benefits in line with Scotland Excel’s sustainable procurement approach.

The Audio Visual framework is available to all Scotland Excel Local Authorities and Associate Members. It is particularly relevant for members operating within the following sectors:

  • Leisure

Key Facts

Suppliers will comply with The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) disposal with regards to waste management. Products that are being manufactured by the suppliers will be from familiar and valued brands who will provide public statements that outline their policies for ethical sourcing.
