About this framework
Framework period: 1 August 2022 until 31 July 2025 with an option to extend for up to 12 months until 31 July 2026
Scotland Excel’s digital publications and services framework provides members with a variety of e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, e-comics and e-newspapers.
As with all our frameworks, this second generation framework was developed in close consultation with key stakeholders. It is fully compliant with all legislative requirements and was developed in line with Scotland Excel’s sustainable procurement approach.
Benefits
- All 32 local authorities are participating.
- Framework provides full geographical coverage for all members.
- Pricing is fixed for 24 months from all six suppliers.
- Digital publications are purchased online which has environmental benefits as no physical production is required, there is no physical published material, no deliveries are made, and no packaging produced and requiring disposal.
- Four of the six suppliers are SMEs.
- Four suppliers have committed to deliver local community benefits based on a members spend with a supplier.
- Five supplier pay the Real Living Wage.
