About this framework
Framework period: 1 February 2022 until 31 January 2025 with an option to extend for up to one further 12-month period until 31 January 2026
Scotland Excel’s pest control services and associated products framework includes the removal of rats and mice, crawling insects, flying insects and the supply of pest control chemicals and accessories.
As with all our frameworks, this framework was developed in close consultation with key stakeholders. It is fully compliant with all legislative requirements and was developed in line with Scotland Excel’s sustainable procurement approach.
- 29 local authorities have indicated their participation
- Prices stable for 12 months
- A range of environmental benefits were outlined by suppliers through a range of measures such as:
- using electrical power sourced from wind, hydro and solar renewables
- reduction and ultimately elimination of single-use, non-recyclable plastic
- recycling waste
- reducing paper usage
- Six of the seven awarded suppliers are committed to providing local community benefits.
- One supplier is a microbusiness and another five are SMEs.
- Four suppliers pay the Real Living Wage.
- Two suppliers are Scottish businesses.
