About this framework
Framework period: 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2026 (with extension options until 31 March 2028)
Scotland Excel’s residential rehabilitation (alcohol and drugs) services flexible framework agreement will enable purchasers to source residential rehabilitation services for people experiencing problematic use of alcohol and/or drugs to support their recovery.
As with all our frameworks, this framework was developed in close consultation with key stakeholders. It is fully compliant with all legislative requirements and was developed in line with Scotland Excel’s sustainable procurement approach.
Benefits
- The flexible framework is open to all 32 councils and 14 NHS health boards as purchasers. It is anticipated that all council and Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) areas will use the flexible framework agreement.
- Nine providers were appointed to the framework, seven were small or medium-sized enterprises including one micro business
- Eight providers have agreed further discussion on delivery of community benefits which are reflective of the Scottish Government’s National Outcomes
- Eight providers are either accredited Real Living Wage Employers or pay the Real Living Wage, with the remaining provider making a commitment to pay all staff the Real Living Wage
