About this framework

The Vehicle Purchase agreement supported by Scotland Excel in partnership with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) gives the UK public sector including Scottish local authorities and Scotland Excel’s associate members access to the supply of vehicles and associated services.

This framework agreement is made up of suppliers who directly manufacture the required vehicles, and who are responsible for managing and controlling the complete supply chain from vehicle manufacture through to the supply, delivery and services including after-sales support, maintenance and servicing.

The procurement for the framework agreement was undertaken by CCS using the Open Procedure in compliance with all public procurement regulations.

    • Support the Government Buying Standards and Fleet Commitments by making available ultra-low emission & electric vehicles.

    • The framework is fully compliant with public procurement regulations and reflects commercial best practice within the market. It also reduces procurement risk for customers and reduces bureaucracy in the procurement process.
